What I'll probably do one day, is to add an option to scan for all unreferenced obj/texture files.

Well, no, I don't think that's a good idea. There could always be other library files with the same references, so you could delete stuff you don't want...

Download 1.9.2.0 BETA (2009-10-31) - the spooky things edition - (Double)clicking the name of an item should now work the same as (double)clicking the image
- Poser 8: Items which should be loaded into Poser 8 will always be put in a queue. From the queue they're sent to Poser when it Poser is available. (So you don't need to wait till an item is loaded or can put items in the queue while Poser loads.)
- Poser 8: You can now switch auto conforming on ("AC on" from the new Tool Strip). Do this after you've loaded a character and all following characters loaded will be conformed to that character. (Switching this option on/off uses one undo step and also for each loaded character one additional undo step is used).
- Poser 8: You can switch "Magnetizing" on and off in addition to auto conforming. If it's on the magnet settings from the character the cloting item is auto conformed to will be duplicated to the clothing item
- All tool strips can be switched on and off. (Settings -> Layout)
- You can move all tool strips around and the tool strip's locations will be saved, so they'll be in the same location the next time you start AL
- You can correct and repair references with the Installation Helper, if you dare... (Better backup your runtime before trying it on your runtime...)

Hi Dizzi Just re-installed my OS so had to start again with AL Here's the question: I use full folders in the Poser files - eg d:\Geometries\2008\ball.obj Is there a way of reading those files and removing all the obj, jpg, png files all in one go? Could you add that to AL? Thank you Indoda

Hi Dizzi, sorry if this is too late but I feel I at the very least owe you a response for giving away such a useful app. I can't use Poser any more without AL.
1. Just showing up - AL opens in its own window and has a task bar button. This, combined with settings for "remain on top" make it better than the default library. 2. The "virtual" nature of the Library, so I can install content one way and organize it another in AL. It's amazing how much navigating this can save. 3. Search, filters, etc.
That's what I "couldn't live without."
Thanks for the great app, not kidding about feeling like I've lost a limb when I'm using Poser and can't use AL.
P.S., which leads to its greatest drawback, by far, the difficulty of reinstalling AL. The most recent install was painless, so maybe you've got it all sorted out, but I've had repeat nightmares setting AL up again on a fresh OS install. I'm on Vista now so maybe the problems (dependencies, finding the right files to bring over to AL's folders) are done.
Oh, I haven't looked to see if the new (to me) image that springs up over the directory tree can be turned off, I assume it can, but I wouldn't leave that on by default. It's annoying because it interferes with my use of the tree.

Thanks, I didn't grab that initially because it was beta and I wasn't sure how it would react to Win 7, so I have it now and I'll see how it works. Thanks again.
